WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
In addition to materials, Baltimore County Public Library provides a variety of services, including:
BOOKMOBILES provide library access for Baltimore County residents and attend outreach events in the community.
PUBLIC COMPUTERS provide access to the internet, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and wireless printing.
FREE WIFI available at all branches.
FAXING available for a nominal fee at the Arbutus, Essex, Hereford, Lansdowne, Loch Raven, North Point and Sollers Point branches, with other branches being added throughout the year.
PHOTOCOPYING including color copies available at any branch for a nominal fee per page.
PRINTING to black-and-white and color printers is available at any branch from the public computers as well as via our wireless network. Printouts are $.15 per page for black-and- white pages and $.30 per page for color copies.
PASSPORT APPLICATION AND PHOTO SERVICE available at Arbutus, Towson and White Marsh branches.
STUDY ROOMS provided for individuals and small groups at the Arbutus, Cockeysville, Essex, Hereford, Owings Mills, Perry Hall, Randallstown, Rosedale, Towson and Woodlawn the current business day and cannot be booked in advance. (See sidebar, page 4.)
ENCLOSED QUIET AREAS are available at the Arbutus, Catonsville, Cockeysville, Essex, Hereford, Owings Mills, Perry Hall, Randallstown, Reisterstown, Rosedale, Towson and White Marsh branches.
PUBLIC MEETING ROOMS at most branches are available for rental by contacting 410-887-6109.
MY LIBRARIAN APPOINTMENTS to meet one-on-one with a librarian who can help you get started with library resources and technology.
DIGITAL MARYLAND: Online access to a selection of historical photographs, documents and artifacts from our local history collections
CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY: Hands-on digital skills to prepare for careers in communication technology
HUNDREDS OF PROGRAMS for adults, teens and children hosted daily at each branch. Registration is often required. A complete program list can be found at bcpl.info.
ASK A QUESTION, our email service at bcpl.libanswers.com. Receive a response from library staff within 72 hours.
BOOK DROPS for returning all library items after business hours are available at any Baltimore County Public Library branch.
DRIVE-UP WINDOW at the Arbutus and Perry Hall branches for picking up holds or returning library items.
SUMMER READING provides reading challenges and interactive programs for all age groups with incentives for participating.
NOTARY SERVICES available for a fee at the Essex Branch, with other branches being added throughout the year.
3D PRINTING SERVICES available for a fee by uploading printers for free by making an appointment at Randallstown, Rosedale and Towson branches.
ADA-ACCESSIBLE COMPUTERS and equipment, including a
