Baltimore County Public Library has been a trusted resource in the community since 1948, and we continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the community. Today, our library is a safe zone, a civic center, a technology hub and a space for ideas and learning. There is no other
place where you can get the same array of services and experiences so easily and conveniently and — more importantly — for free. We are proud of our tradition of books, reading and literacy. And, we are also focused on our new services and access to technologies that are critical for our residents to succeed in the 21st century. Baltimore County Public Library provides resources and opportunities for learning and education, economic and workforce development, arts and culture, and community engagement and inclusion.
