NICKLE ELECTRICAL COMPANIES
An Excellence is presented to Nickle Electrical Companies for the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science in the electrical under $2M category. The facility underwent a museum metamorphosis as Nickle remodeled the two-story, 36,000-square- foot building, which includes two gallery wings, common areas, a gift shop, a children’s play area and an archive section. This involved installing new lighting and controls, power outlets and receptacles, and a fire alarm system. Additionally, all existing lighting was upgraded to LED.
GGA CONSTRUCTION
GGA Construction is honored with an Excellence in the GC/CM under $2M category for Downtown Blues. Located on 1st Street in Rehoboth Beach, the establishment was last renovated in 1971. Despite unforeseen structural and electrical issues, the project was completed on schedule and opened in June. It features custom finishes, a full bar, BBQ kitchen and a carry- out window.
