RICHARD Y. JOHNSON
In the GC/CM category $2-5 million, Richard Y. Johnson is awarded a Merit for the Camp Arrowhead Dining Hall. This is
a new facility to replace the hall that had reached the end of a useful life. The new building consists of a large dining hall within a timber frame structure and a modern commercial kitchen.
The project is now the centerpiece of the camp. Despite supply chain issues, the hall was opened in June 2022.
RALPH G. DEGLI OBIZZI & SONS
In the mechanical category $2-5 million, a Merit is awarded to Ralph G. Degli Obizzi & Sons for the Shields Elementary School. Shields, originally built in 1922, served as an elementary school in Lewes for the past 100 years. The new designed school enables students the opportunity
to use more resources to better their education while keeping the best of the past in looking to the future.
