ular attendee of ABC events both in New Castle and
Sussex counties, including network- ing nights, awards dinners, YP jobsite tours, and for the past three years, has been a volunteer on parking duty for Crab Feast.
Laird is marketing manager for Assurance Media, and has created
a company customer satisfaction program, an internal skills develop- ment program and helped create
the on-boarding process. Outside of Assurance Media and ABC, he’s an active participant in community service projects such as Habitat for Humani-
ty, the Sunday Breakfast Mission and Operation Warm in Newport.
YP of the Year nominees, who must be between the ages of 18 & 39, were judged on a number of factors including: demonstrate strong leadership skills, strong teamwork skills, and a strong sense of integrity; demonstrate a strong commitment to ABC Delaware; ABC involvement in committees, attendance at events, company support, and PAC contribution.
As the 2019 winner, Laird receives a paid registration to the ABC National Convention in March 2020, which is in Nashville.
This year ABC Delaware presented two companies with Honorable Mention in the Excellence In Construction Awards program:
