White Plains Hospital Physician Associates and White Plains Hospital Imaging Center will open a state-of-the-art medical facility in the heart of New Rochelle in the fall of 2013.
The newly constructed two-story, approxi- mately 16,000 square-foot space, located
at 1296 North Avenue in the Wykagyl Shopping Center, will be the first White Plains Hospital satellite practice and imaging center in the Sound Shore area, providing primary care, dermatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, and orthopedic services. Additionally the Imaging Center will provide full diagnostic services featuring a state-of-the-art Women’s Imaging Center.
White Plains Hospital is a 292- bed, acute-care, not-for-profit hospital located less than 30 miles outside of New York City. Its renovated and expanded emergency department is the busiest in Westchester County, seeing over 55,000 visits in 2012.

Key clinical services include advanced maternity and intensive neonatal care, car- diac catheterization, oncology, orthopedics, stroke care, and specialized surgical services including robotic, vascular and bariatric. More than 800 affiliated physicians and 700 nurses on staff at White Plains Hospital pride themselves on providing advanced, compre- hensive and compassionate care every day to the patients they serve.
The hospital’s Cancer Program has been repeatedly recognized by the American Col- lege of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer for outstanding achievement in cancer care, and the hospital’s breast program has been recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers for quality care and outcomes in breast patients.
