Travel and tourism is a nearly $1.7 billion in- dustry for Westchester County, supporting more than 23,000 jobs (6 percent) in 2012. “We are pleased to say that the tourism in- dustry in Westchester County is thriving and growing,” says County Executive Robert P. Astorino, noting that over the last year, more than $100 million has been invested in hotel renovation, development, and tourist attrac- tions. “We have growth in recreation, food
