LARCHMONT The home- owner wanted to infuse character and warmth into this kitchen. The trans- formation includes new porcelain tile floors that look like aged wood, a reworked island, refaced and painted perimeter cabinetry, a new bar cabinet, and new hard- ware. The lighting and glass backsplash balance timeless beauty with
fresh design, while softly shaped chairs and counter stools add to the welcom- ing look.

CLEAN DESIGNER PARTNERS BRONXVILLE The final project in a seven-year remodel of this home was the kitchen. The homeowners wanted something that was true to the style of their tra- ditional Tudor but with unexpected touches. For the cabinets, the designer chose Benjamin Moore’s Evening Dove, which allows the plumbing
and hardware to pop. Floating walnut shelves and a custom-made plas- ter hood add traditional details to the space.
