SCARSDALE The master bath in this home was part of a large-scale renovation of the whole home. The space was a small bedroom that the client used as an office. After adding to the home, the homeown- ers have a large master suite that includes this serene and functional bathroom wrapped in Asian Statuary marble. The designer used the same material in different sizes and patterns to create a richness that isn’t too busy.

LARCHMONT The master bath in this 1920s Tudor home is wrapped with honed Dolomite tiles; the floor- ing is a marble mosaic with a gray/blue and white pattern. The design takes advantage of the available peaked roof; a raised tray ceiling provides an airy feeling to the room. The unifying design element is the simplicity and elegance of layers of white.

RYE Light and airy elements were used throughout this master bathroom in a carriage house. They include the chandelier, soft tiles and stone, and pale gray vanities. Touches of mercu- ry glass and satin nickel (including around the free-standing tub) add a touch of glamour.
