SCARSDALE This new modern home was built after the family could not find what they were looking for; they decided to demolish their split-level house and build a new one that fit their needs. The concept was to design an open space with all the living areas con- nected. A connection to the outside and an abundance of natural light were also priorities for the clients. To meet those requests, the architect used large windows and floor-to-ceiling bifold glass doors that open from the dining room to the deck outside.
