This Hudson Valley lakefront home is a willow-framed tour de force. Drenched in ambient light from all directions, thanks to banks of oversize glass, the designer was savvy to nourish dwellers and guests with a minimalist approach to the interior spaces, yielding a serene yet gallery-like space for her Gallatin cli- ents and their art collection. Gabled rooflines, local natural stone, and Thermory cladding further catalyze the home’s august impression. Other unique features include a double-height cathedral ceiling and grand scissor trusses in the great room, along with capacious dining and kitchen spaces that flow seamlessly to the outdoor terrace. The entire tableau is anchored by a sculptural central stair- case of glass and steel.
