The design of this Armonk space radiates modern-meets-earthy vibes. Hickory cabinetry, matte-black floor-to-ceiling cabinets, black countertops, and a white Calacatta Fantasia coun- tertop on a five-inch-thick island combine for a unique look. Stainless-steel appliances and hardware edge pulls, in black and satin brass, add interest. The floor is a gray-porcelain large tile in a herringbone pattern, for a clean look. The custom kitchen table of hickory slab with black metal legs, inlaid to tabletop, is the perfect place for gathering.

Coastline Modern Houses
An ultra-sleek space, the kitchen in this Mamaroneck home features white, matte finishes, warm natural wood, and hanging contemporary lighting. A 20-foot-long black, stone island with a sink and ample seating adds drama. The white veining in the island ties into the white cabinetry and a backsplash that provides visual interest. Outdoor access is offered by way of two sliding doors in the kitchen, providing seamless integration with nature.
