WESTCHESTER SMART GAMING & LEISURE ELEVATE YOUR GAME
Westchester’s economic scene has always been bolstered by hard work. But in recent years, it’s become increasingly robust by play. From world-class sports coaching, professional-level hockey and basketball, to the adrenaline-charged sensation of a free fall, enjoy world class sports and gaming experiences here in Westchester County. Here are just a few of the venues driving our expanding gaming scene.
The New York Rangers Hockey Team
makes its home in a 105,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art practice facility located on 16 acres on the former site of the Union Carbide building in the Eastview office park. Each team’s wing includes a 1,800-square- foot cardio and weight room; a steam room, a whirlpool and a cold plunge; a play- ers’ lounge with leather sofas and chairs, a 42-inch high-definition television, a refresh- ment center, pool and ping-pong tables.
The Westchester Knicks NBA Develop- ment League team, which serves as the ex- clusive affiliate of the New York Knicks, has been based at the Westchester County Center since its debut in the 2014-15 season.
SPINS HUDSON
The largest entertainment venue on the Hudson, Spins Hudson offers 40,000 square feet of intense adventure, including an aerial ropes course, a two-story laser tag arena, and more. Spins Hudson has the only outdoor/ indoor ropes course in the Northeast, challenging even the best climbers. The facility also offers professional, indoor bocce ball and shuffleboard courts, as well as the only video gaming entertainment center on the Hudson.
IFLY
IFLY is the experiential entertainment com- pany that created modern indoor skydiving. IFLY makes the dream of flight a reality by giving customers “wings” in a safe and reli- able environment. The experience replicates the adrenaline-charged sensation of a sky- diving free fall. Four fans located at the top of the building create a cushion of air with- in the wind tunnel on which a person can safely float. No special skills are required and almost anyone over the age of three can fly.
HOUSE OF SPORTS
Combining state-of-the-art facilities and world-class coaching, The House of Sports is an Olympic-style athletic training facil- ity located in Ardsley. This 120,000 sq.-ft.,
