Rosendale Street Festival

Main Street, Rosendale 845-658-8348 rosendalestreetfestival.org The Rosendale Street Festival first took place in 1975 and has been rocking ever since. Main Street is closed for two days. There are seven stages, 80 bands, over 100 vendors, kids crafts and parades. The festival is donation-driven
and is produced by community volunteers.

This season’s three-day festival offers vocal performances ranging from opera to musicals, gospel to world music, featuring international stars in seven
venues, all within walking distance in the hamlet of Phoenicia. Performances include the opera “Elixir of Love” by Donizetti, a special African-American hommage, a fantastic recapitulation of the past 10 years of music and beauty, from jazz to opera, gospel to plays. The 10th annual festival expands with Belleayre Mountain Ski Center as an additional venue.
