The Kingston Kayak Festival is one of the largest Hudson River kayak festivals, where you can demo a variety of kayaks, learn new skills and see the newest gear.

22 Maritime Festival Featuring the Antique and Classic Boat Show and the National Boat Building Challenge

Museum docks will feature antique and classic boats with a parade in the afternoon. Teams from across the country will compete to see who can build a wooden boat in under four hours. Maritime craft vendors, kids’ activities, sailing, rowing demos and more.

Once again the village streets of Main and Partition streets are shut down to traffic and filled with over 500 cars that bring back the memories. Non-stop live entertainment and a cause that hits home for all. Admission free to the public. 1-6 p.m.

An event not to be missed, the muster is the annual fundraiser for the Volunteer Fireman’s Hall and Museum. More than 20 antique, vintage and new fire trucks will be on display with the museum’s two antique fire trucks, an 1845 hand pumper and two parade carriages. First floor is handicap accessible. 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
