Support and incentives from New Jersey, Mercer County and local municipalities are available for companies looking to relocate to the region. Some of the enticements include new job and corporate tax credits and financing through the Mercer County Loan Fund.
In addition, Mercer County is an established Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), which provides assistance for companies specializing in foreign trade. Some
of these benefits include logistics flexibility, weekly entry of customs, and duty reduction, elimination or deferral
— all resulting in reduced expenses

The state capital of Trenton offers a 2.5-square-mile Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) where business can take advantage of incentives, including:
• No sales tax on building materials, services and most tangible personal property
• Half the normal sales-tax rate on in- person purchases
• A 50 percent reduction in unemployment insurance taxes
• Priority financial assistance, including low-interest loans
While businesses need to apply to participate in the UEZ program, there

Incubator and Support Services
The New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) has 12 locations throughout the state and helps small businesses open, expand and flourish in the region. Specialty programs include E-Business Webinars, International Trade Procurement, Sustainability and Technology Commercialization. The NJSBDC has facilitated $126.9 million in financing, such as loans and equity, for its clients as of 2018. Learn more at www.njsbdc.com.

The Keller Center at Princeton University (https://kellercenter.princeton.edu) offers students, alumni and faculty access to
