Turn Bull Lumber Company
NCFA visits Pem Jenkins, President of Turn Bull Lumber Co. in Elizabethtown, and his staff as part of the 2020 membership spotlight series.
Pembroke “Pem” Jenkins founded Turn Bull Lumber Company in May of 1993 just outside of Elizabethtown, NC. Jenkins grew up in Elizabeth City and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Early in his career, he worked for a tobacco company, but soon after
he decided to go back to school and get a master’s degree in Political Science/Political Economy. Jenkins worked in New York for a physical commodities company for some time. Eventually, along with his wife Patti, he decided to return to North Carolina to raise their four children.
