Welcome to the new TreeLine magazine
The North Carolina Forestry Association (NCFA) has experienced many changes throughout the past year. The new TreeLine magazine represents one of those changes that I know will add value to
your membership. Forestry in North Carolina is as diverse as our
association’s membership. This new publication gives our association the room it needs to spotlight our members’ contributions to forestry in our state, our nation and the world.
The NCFA’s members are hardworking, innovative, salt-of-the-earth people who genuinely care about the sustainable management of our forests. From the mountains to the coastal plains, our members produce an array of forest products that are utilized all over the world every day.
The new TreeLine will feature member-oriented articles, updates on the NCFA’s legislative efforts as well as highlights from all of the association’s programs. The NCFA has been working on several dynamic issues at both the state and federal level that are still going through the legislative process at press time. Therefore, our next issue of TreeLine will include a comprehensive summary of this year’s North Carolina General Assembly session, in addition to key federal issues affecting our industry.
The NCFA staff is committed to bringing forestry in North Carolina to the pages of TreeLine. We hope you enjoy our new magazine.
