What prompted you to decide to join MSD? I am relatively new to the area, having moved to Delaware from New York about two years ago. I was very involved in the medical society while in New York and wanted to reach out to be involved in Delaware.
What is your hometown? I am from originally from Brooklyn and now reside in Dover.
What made you come to Delaware? I came to Delaware when I was recruited by Post-Acute Medical to be the Medical Director and start a new acute, in-bed rehabilitation hospital in Dover.
When did you decide to go into medicine and why? When I was in high school, I had originally considered a career in dentistry. My family has a very strong dental background, with             medicine, especially sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and concussion. The musculoskeletal aspects of medicine are truly exciting.

What prompted you to decide to join MSD? I have been involved with the AMA since residency, and am excited to continue that work here in Delaware with MSD.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I tend to work a               We enjoy seeing the world, experiencing different cultures, and different food. We appreciate other cultures and the experiences we have while seeing how differently people live.
What would you like to see MSD work on? I would
           encouraging them to work in Delaware, to work to overcome the shortage of physicians in the state. Having opportunities to reach out to the different specialties to introduce themselves and to be involved can make a big difference in the community. Having           MSD could host speakers to lecture on popular topics for patients to consider the best treatments for them.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? It is very hard to predict 10 years from now, as health care is constantly changing. I am very happy where I am and am looking forward to new endeavors. The TBI/CVA clinic that I started in Dover is the              the opening of another hospital in Georgetown. I will continue to oversee the acute rehabilitation hospital in Dover as well
as the one being built in Georgetown. I will also oversee
all the outpatient clinics for traumatic brain injury (TBI), musculoskeletal, and Parkinson’s at both hospitals as well.

           Bayhealth Family Medicine Residency Program, we focus on growing physician leaders who can be the best possible advocates for their patients. In addition to the standard requirements of training, our residents will be out in the community working with people who need the most help and implementing innovative solutions to address the social determinants of health. The curriculum harnesses the enthusiasm of young physicians who are passionate about improving the health of the community and allows them the opportunity to
