You probably live and work around a variety of utility lines and equipment buried just a few feet underground. It’s important to know what’s below before you begin a new project.
Every digging or construction project requires a call to 8-1-1 at least two business days before work begins. You can also visit missutilitydelmarva.com to have underground lines marked for free. Once marked, you can complete your project with less risk of injury, disruption of service or large fines and repair costs. Digging safely is not just a good idea – it’s the law.
