A Place to Thrive
As PTI propels forward with groundbreaking technology, international expansion, and a commitment to excellence, Westchester remains the backdrop for its ongoing success story.
Westchester-based Packaging Technologies & Inspection (PTI) designs and develops leading edge inspection technologies for high-risk packaging applications in the pharmaceutical, medical device and food industries.
Aer growing in Tuckahoe for 30 years, in 2020 the company reaffirmed its commitment to Westchester by relocating to a new, 14,000-sf, expanded headquarters and manufacturing facility in Hawthorne.
Here, CEO Oliver Stauffer shares how the company continues its upward trajectory, achieving multiple milestones, with Westchester as its backdrop for success.
Continued Expansion
In late 2020, PTI acquired Leak Detection Associates,
a global leader in helium-based, high-sensitivity leak detection systems for the pharmaceutical and biologic industries. “is acquisition was a significant step to enhance container quality and ensure patient safety,” says Stauffer.

In 2021, PTI expanded its footprint at 8 Skyline Drive with an additional 13,650 sf, almost doubling its previously leased space. “We now occupy approximately 28,000 square feet,” says Stauffer. “e facility is nearly four times the size of our original Tuckahoe location.”
Establishing a European Presence
In 2022, PTI established its European headquarters with the acquisition of CCIT s.a. Serving as PTI's affiliate office in Europe, CCIT provides crucial support for PTI technologies and operates an analytical laboratory for demonstrations, feasibility studies, and test method development.
Innovation and Recognition
In 2023, PTI filed 10 patents, reflecting its continuous dedication to innovation. at same year, PTI earned a coveted spot on the prestigious list of Best Places to Work in New York State, an acknowledgement program of the Society for Human Resource Management.
