Enhancing Patient Care: WMCHealth
Construction is set begin on a $186 million Patient Care Tower on Westchester Medical Center’s Valhalla campus. e project will result in the addition of 96 hospital beds
to serve patients needing trauma care, neurosciences, cardiology, and general surgery. e additional beds will increase patient care capacity and enhance training for medical residents and students. e project will also provide 250 construction jobs and 127 full-time jobs in
the completed facility. e five-story tower will enable the hospital to enhance care and comfort as all inpatient rooms will be private, and ICU rooms will have windows to let in natural light.
World-Class Entertainment:
MGM Empire City Casino
MGM Resorts International seeks to transition Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts into a world-class entertainment destination, MGM Empire City, if awarded a commercial casino license for its historic Yonkers site. Key elements
of the phase one design include a comprehensive casino floor redevelopment and expansion, 5,000-capacity entertainment venue, state-of-the-art BetMGM sportsbook, food and beverage outlets by celebrated chefs, cocktail bars and lounges, technologically advanced meeting spaces and more.
Intergenerational Living and Learning: Broadview at Purchase College

iPark Hudson Yonkers
With the ongoing development of its 24-acre iPark Studios, National Resources is transforming the Yonkers waterfront – and the local film and television industry. Lionsgate Studios Yonkers includes two 20,000-sf soundstages and one 10,000-sf soundstage, which are being built on the campus. Development continues with the groundbreaking in late 2023 of Mediapro Studios at Great Point Studios in Yonkers. Slated to open in Fall 2024, the facility will feature three stages encompassing 20,000 sf, providing ample space for both large-scale and more intimate productions.
Another major component of the development will be a performing arts school in the 100,000-sf Biondi Education Center. e school will cater to students grades 6 to 12
and feature a curriculum built by Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
A Mixed-Use Community in Port Chester
A proposed redevelopment at the site of the former United Hospital in Port Chester includes a mixed-use community comprised of open green space surrounded by multi-family buildings. is site will include approximately 19,000 sf of street-level commercial, retail and restaurant space, a 120- key hotel, and 200 age-restricted housing units, including independent living and assisted living apartments. e development also includes 775 multi-family residential units, 10% of which will be offered as affordable housing.
