Originally founded in 1988, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is a biotechnology company that has experienced exponential growth in recent years. The company has created pharmaceuticals that treat autoinflammatory diseases, blindness in the elderly, metastatic colorectal cancer and atopic dermatitis – and was recently in the news after developing an antibody treatment for COVID-19. Regeneron’s 150-acre corporate headquarters is located in Eastview, near Tarrytown. The company also paid $50 million to purchase the New York Life Insurance office and campus in Sleepy Hollow, and $73 million to purchase an undeveloped 100-acre parcel adjacent to its Eastview campus.

A multinational food, snack and beverage corporation, PepsiCo was founded in 1965 when the Pepsi-Cola Company merged with Frito- Lay, Inc. Since then, the company has expanded from its flagship beverage product to include a broad portfolio of food and beverage brands, including Tropicana beverages, Quaker Oats and Gatorade. Based on net revenue, PepsiCo is the second largest food and beverage business in the world – and the largest within North America. Originally headquartered in Manhattan, the company moved to a 112-acre site in Purchase in 1970.
