The equestrian season takes off on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Point to Point: A Winterthur Tradition. This glorious day of steeplechase racing is set amidst the splendor of Henry Francis du Pont’s Winterthur estate. Pack a picnic lunch or tailgate spread and get ready to
enjoy one of the Brandywine Valley’s most stylish and entertaining sporting events! Sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association, this event is more than an important professional horse race; it is one of the standout social events of the season.
The Willowdale Steeplechase
The Willowdale Steeplechase has been a tradition of spectacular horse racing for 28 years. Families and friends gather to celebrate a day of country life and a showcase of equestrian talent with some of the nation’s finest steeplechase horses and jockeys on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Willowdale is minutes from Longwood Gardens, one of the great gardens of the world, and the two world-class activities make for an unforgettable weekend for all.
              VISITORS MAY PURCHASE A SPECIAL PACKAGE:
» First experience the racing, jumping, tailgating, shopping and activities at the Willowdale Steeplechase on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
