A final exploration of the Wyeth story revolves around the Kuerner Farm. From the age of 15, Andrew Wyeth, son of N.C. Wyeth, found
a major source of inspiration at
the nearby home of Karl and Anna Kuerner. Young Andy found an abundance of subjects at the farm: animals, buildings, landscapes and the Kuerner family themselves. Nearly 1,000 paintings and drawings were inspired by the property; the Kuerner Farm tour includes areas
of the house, barn and landscape depicted in many of these works.
