Celebrating 50 Years of Service ... and Planning for the Next 50 to Come
MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is celebrating
our 50th year of service on our campus this year. This important milestone gives us a great opportunity to reflect back on the many ways our growth over the past 50 years has benefited the community we serve. But most importantly, it marks a time when our focus is forward.
Soon, we will:
• Open a brand new surgical pavilion, housing 14 state-of-the-art operating suites, to optimize the patient experience
• Add the latest robotic surgery system—the da Vinci XI—to our technology lineup
• Enhance imaging services with the addition of fluoroscopy rooms and innovative X-ray equipment
• Renovate our oncology unit, including 10 inpatient beds to offer comprehensive, around-the-clock cancer care
