Founded in 1873, around for generations, Sharon Bank’s Italian American President Joseph R. Corrado (2017) has a team in place to move forward in 2020. Corrado in the banking industry for more than 38 years, served as CFO and most recently as President CEO of Prudential Bancorp. At Sharon Bank, Corrado emphasizes special effort directed to provide personalized, courteous
& efficient service to both depositors & borrowers in this age of computer technology. With new executive offices
in Springfield & striving to promote its identity as a “Community Bank”,
arranging a meeting with Corrado, he brought the Sharon Bank Team; William ‘Bill’ Mattern, Executive VP-Chief Lending Officer; Pete Bendistis; Senior VP-Commercial Business Development; Regina Wilson, Senior VP-Bank Operations & Allison Kruse, VP of Marketing. Personalized service in this age of constant computer interfacing sounds like a great idea to me. Email Joe, the bank’s President, jcorrato@ sharonbank.com

How many of you knew this! The Holiday 2019 issue of PRIMO magazine’s story ‘American’s Favorite Indian was an Italian American’ by Brian D’ambrosia reveals IRON EYES CODY was born Espera Oscar DeCorti, (April 3, 1904 Kaplan Louisiana) son of Sicilian immigrants Francesca Salpietra & Antonio DeCorti. More on this to follow!!
Tony Penecale said it perfectly about Hank Cicso’s passing on January 14, 2020, “Now he can take his rightful place in Heaven. I’m
sure he showed up at the Pearly Gates & met St. Peter with a ‘Tell them who you are & what you do!’ I’m sure that was followed up with ‘Ok. Let’s meet Jesus! Does he like Italiano food?’ And, I’m sure within no time, he had the angels joining him in singing Que Sera Sera.”
And, sharing my nephew dads, Sam & Paul with their daughters Saylor & Gianna
Padre Pio words to live by “Pray, hope & don’t worry.”
Until next month!
