The Doane Stuart School
The Doane Stuart School is an Interfaith, co- ed, Early Childhood through Grade 12, college preparatory school located right off of I-90
in Rensselaer, NY. The educational programs are broken into Lower (elementary), Middle, and Upper (high) school, each carefully
catered to students with an active and engaging curriculum traditional at its core, but flexible and progressive enough to allow a student to follow their passion. As one of the top private schools serving the students of the Capital Region, The Doane Stuart School provides an academic experience focused on future success unlike any other. Small class sizes foster open discussion
and student-teacher collaboration. The
Doane Stuart School has a long history of engaging students in service-learning and community outreach, as well as embracing diversity in all forms. The
school also maintains a historic dedication to service-learning, music and the arts, social justice, and environmentalism with the latter aided by a $1.4 million green roof. Doane Stuart remained open for in-person learning throughout the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years.
