GETTING AROUND
Getting around Wilmington is easy and, in fact, can be downright fun. Take, for example, the River Taxi, a 29-passenger boat that can be boarded from six docks along the Riverfront. The River Taxi (right) also offers special tours and chartered cruises such as The History Tour.
Bike rentals for riding on the Riverwalk and on the Jack A. Markell Trail are available at Riverwalk Mini Golf and the DuPont Environmental Education Center. Surreys can also be rented for Riverwalk jaunts.
The city is currently in discussions with UBER about establishing a bike share and scooter rental program.
