H.O. Brittingham Elementary School
This automation project for the new $28 million Brittingham Elementary School
in Milton included the installation of an automation control system for a chilled
and hot water system, air handling units and four pipe chilled beams. The installed control system is expected to reduce energy costs by as much as 30%, improve building comfort for a better learning environment, reduce overall maintenance costs and provide operating efficiency through
the use of a real time custom graphic.

Chesapeake Utilities & Eastern Shore Natural Gas Corporate Campus
The Chesapeake Utilities Campus captured the high qualities of a mixed-use project by seamlessly integrating offices with a large warehouse on the 20-acre campus. Use of large sections of natural daylight in the design required BCI to take care in controlling quality and sequencing of glazing, exterior panels and sunscreens. The City of Dover commented that this project was one of the best executed and coordinated that they have had the pleasure
to be involved with.

EXCELLENCE IN CRAFTSMANSHIP – FIRE PROTECTION
WAYMAN FIRE PROTECTION
Bayhealth Milford
This project involved the installation of a fire suppression system for the new Bayhealth Medical Center in Milford. Over 4,856 sprinkler heads were installed. The construction and design team agreed to utilize flexible sprinkler drops instead of traditional steel pipe. This innovation enabled flexibility in the installation resulting in manpower and schedule efficiencies.
