This remarkable house was constructed on an ocean-front lot in Bethany Beach, Delaware. It is a traditional shingled coastal style house with
a twist. The core is a center hall and staircase, with family gathering spaces...kitchen, dining room and great room...on one level, bedrooms for children and guests on another level, and
an owner’s suite on the top level. The home
has over 3,000 sf of porch, deck and balconies, providing outdoor living spaces with full unimpeded views of the ocean. Custom trim and millwork, including a bead-board ceiling
in the kitchen, raised panel wainscoting and custom built-ins throughout, were all fabricated and installed by Dewson’s own in-house craftspeople. The overall design, in combination with custom hand crafted elements, make this home both elegant and inviting.
