Baltimore County Public Library has been an anchor in the community since 1948 and continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the community. Today, the branches in our library system are a safe zone, a civic center, a technology hub and a space for ideas and learning. There is no other place where you can get the same array of services and experiences so easily and conveniently and — more importantly — for free. We are proud of that heritage and we are also focused on new services and technologies that are critical for succeeding in the 21st century.
