MDOT’s 2024 State Report on Transportation
Now Available
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) has released the 2024 State Report on three important documents: the Final updated Maryland Transportation Attainment Report (AR) on Transportation System Performance.
The Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP)
The CTP is Maryland’s six-year constrained capital budget for
transportation projects. It contains projects and programs across the Department. MDOT developed the following priorities to guide the necessary reductions to the capital program:
• fully fund federal match grants and leverage each federal formula dollar
• remove construction funding for any major expansion projects not
• reduce funding for system pre- servation activities as a last resort.
The Maryland Transportation Plan (MTP)
MDOT completed an 18-month
Maryland’s long-range statewide transportation plan. The MTP investment priorities for the next 20 years. The Playbook outlines sustainable transportation options to Marylanders across the state.
