Holiday Rosen House Tours

Enter a holiday wonderland courtesy of the sprawling
Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts as the
Katonah venue’s stately Rosen House receives a
seasonal makeover. Listed on the National Register
of Historic Places, the house is enlivened with
decorations inspired by the Rosen family archive,
offering a glimpse into the way Christmas was
celebrated circa 1900 by the home’s original tenants.
Tickets range from $4 to $24.

architectural icons transformed into a wonderland
of holiday splendor. Spy dozens of Christmas
trees designed to complement the elegant period
furnishings alongside a fleet of rarely seen items
belonging to the mansion’s former owners, the Goulds,
adding a touch of historical heft to all the holiday glitz

Victorian Christmas at the
Octagon House
The Armour-Stiner Octagon House, Irvington
Select dates and times 2through Dec 30
Travel back in time as you stroll through this Victorian-
era gem decked out in haute holiday finery. Guests
are invited to enjoy an hour-long guided tour through
the Armour-Stiner Octagon House decorated with all
the ornate décor of a late 19th Century Christmas,
complete with plentiful wreaths, glittering garlands,
and ornaments dotting three grand trees. Tickets are
$29, and the event is recommended for kids 12+.
