LOWER HUDSON VALLEY
ORANGE
Orange
A s Orange County Executive, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Orange County, a beautiful part of New York’s wonderful Hudson Valley.
From Cornwall to Goshen to Warwick, Orange County offers an amazing variety of history, shopping, culture, arts, entertainment and other attractions. We have beautiful parks that provide visitors with many different activities and bountiful farms for apple and pumpkin picking. Orange County is also proud to be the home of the United States Military Academy at West Point, America’s oldest winery, Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville, and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, the region’s premier shopping destination.
For more information about our great County, please go to our Parks (orangecountynyparks.com) and Tourism (orangetourism.org) websites. Orange County’s location, nestled in the mountains of the Hudson Valley, is considered one of its best assets. Bordering the historic Hudson River and located only 90 minutes from New York City, our bucolic landscape features, among other highlights, the Schunnemunk Mountains, Sterling Forest and Bear Mountain State Parks and the fertile soil of the Black Dirt region.
Sincerely,
Steven M. Neuhaus
