TRAILS AND PARKS
The South County Trailway provides bikers, joggers and walkers with a continuous paved pathway that runs the length of the county from the New York City border to Putnam County.
Rye’s historic Playland is a 279-acre recreational complex, featuring a 40-acre amusement park, where hundreds of thousands of annual visitors enjoy more than 50 rides.
RIVERWALK
Spanning 14 municipalities, The Westchester RiverWalk is a 51.5-mile multi-faceted pathway paralleling the Hudson River in Westchester. When fully complete, it will link village centers, historic sites, parks and river access points via a connection of trails, esplanades and boardwalks.
ROCKEFELLER PRESERVE
Located in Pleasantville, the Preserve is an idyllic spot for strolling, jogging, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. With 180 recorded species of birds, it holds an IBA (Important Bird Area) designation by the National Audubon Society.
WATERFRONT VIEWS
Westchester residents enjoy plentiful access to exquisite waterfront backdrops on the Hudson River and the Long Island Sound.
Visitors and residents walk, run and bike year-round along The Westchester Riverwalk in Tarrytown.

Located on a former estate near bucolic Katonah, New York, The Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts is a prime destination for music aficionados to enjoy live performances of multiple genres, including classical, jazz, opera and The American Songbook.
DIA:BEACON
Located in southwest Dutchess County along the Hudson River, Beacon features art galleries and shops along the quaint Main Street that boasts a wealth of Victorian and 19th- and 20th-century industrial architecture. Located in a former Nabisco box factory, the Dia Art Foundation’s upstate location is dedicated to displaying large-scale sculptures and installations.
From most points in Westchester, it takes 60 minutes or less to travel to New York City.
