& NJ is especially proud of its partnerships with local businesses that received more than $850 million in LGA-related contracts, while MWBE firms received an unprecedented $2 billion in contracts—a record for participation by MWBE firms on any public-private partnership project in New York State history.
The Port Authority is committed to sustaining this powerful momentum as JFK undertakes an $18 billion redevelopment program to build a whole new JFK, recognizing that the participation of local businesses and MWBEs and partnership with the local community will be an integral element of
JFK’s renaissance.
