Our team of Weill Cornell Medicine neurologists and neurosurgeons provides patients the highest quality of care— applying their expertise, modern imaging techniques, and advanced therapies to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system. As a designated Stroke Center, a team of experts including vascular neurologists, stroke physician assistants (PAs), stroke coordinators, emergency medicine physicians, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons and other support staff are available 24/7/365 for the treatment of a stroke. The stroke team at NYP Queens offers the latest treatment for acute ischemic stroke including thrombolytic therapy and mechanical thrombectomy.
