As President of the Borough of Queens, it is my pleasure to welcome you to this 2021 edition of the Queens Chamber of Commerce’s Queens Economic Development Guide.

Our borough’s economy, just like the entire global economy, was severely battered by the effects of COVID-19. But Queens is well-positioned to bounce back and be an even better place to live, work, and visit than ever before. As the most diverse county in the continental United States, and one of the most diverse places on the planet, Queens is home to a smart, dedicated and resilient workforce as well as a wide variety of stores, restaurants and attractions that make Queens an ideal place to visit for those who want to experience international culture without having
to travel abroad. The prospects for our post-pandemic future are bright, and together we will make that bright future a reality.
