National Truck Driver Appreciation Week September 15-21, 2024
Nearly every aspect of daily life is made possible because a truck driver delivered the goods and resources people need. National Truck Driver Appreciation
Week is an important time to thank the professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in undertaking one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs. These 3.5 million professional men and women not only deliver our goods safely, securely, and on time, but they also keep our highways safe.
The forest products supply chain is a complex system that includes a vast array of participants, ranging from consuming mills to forest landowners. A key aspect of this extensive chain is that of logging truck drivers. Without logging trucks, the forest products industry would be incredibly limited in how products move across our great state. On behalf of the NCFA, we would like to extend our thanks to all truck drivers in the forest products industry. We have a deep appreciation for those working in this role!
SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR AND THANK TRUCK DRIVERS ALL YEAR LONG, but especially during the appreciation week taking place September 15-21. If you happen to host any special events or activities, please send photos to jharmor@ncforestry.org and we will be sure to feature them in future NCFA communications!
