ProLoggers after the field day portion of the certification program.
61 New ProLoggers Trained Through Base Course
The NCFA hosted the first ProLogger base course of 2023 at Wayne Community College on March 22 and 23. Through a long-held partnership with stakeholders, including the Forestry Mutual Insurance Company, the
NC Forest Service, NC State Highway Patrol, NC Department of Labor, and Wayne Community College, 61 new ProLoggers were successfully trained.
Training topics included forest management and BMP implementation, highway safety and weight regulations, OSHA safety and compliance, certification programs, and production and profitability in the business of logging.

Base Course
The NCFA hosts three base courses each year in each of the three regions of North Carolina. The remaining 2023 Base Classes are as follows:

MODULE 23
Now Available
Module 23 is the continuing education requirement for ProLogger in 2023. The deadline for completion is June 30, 2023. Module 23 is available via ProLearn as well as with support of member companies hosting in-person classes. If you haven’t yet received an email from ProLearn containing online login instructions, let Mike Powell know.
