ARBOR DAY SOCIAL MEDIA SPLASH
March 13-17
The NCFA joined NC Project Learning Tree,
NC Forest Service, NCSU Extension Forestry, and the NC Urban Forest Council to create a social media campaign that highlighted Arbor Day through the health, environmental, and economic benefits of trees and forests. The campaign culminated with the NC Arbor Day Festival, held on Saturday, March 25. NCFA’s Director of Education, Jessica Ireland, spoke with attendees about sustainable forestry and Goods from the Woods.
