What made you choose to stay in Delaware? I was born and raised in Delaware. In fact, I was born in Christiana Hospital! I
did all of my schooling in Delaware and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia for medical school. Subsequently, I completed my family medicine residency at the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in South Jersey, serving as felt that it would be wonderful to come back home to where my family is and be closer to them as well as serve the community that I grew

grandmother in India is also a family medicine physician who has
her own clinic, and many times, on family trips to India, I would accompany her to her clinic as well as to patient homes and observe how she would interact with patients and their families. It was clear
to me that she had formed long-lasting relationships with all of them. As I got older, I found that I enjoyed my biology classes in high school and undergrad, and knew that I wanted to go into medicine. After shadowing and working with my own family medicine physician, I form those same lasting relationships with my patients and their families, just as my grandmother and family physician had with theirs.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I love to spend time with friends and family. I particularly love to bake, and enjoy experimenting and trying new recipes. I also like to travel and collect snow globes from all of the places I have seen. Of course, I do also like the casual, quiet evening at home watching movies!
What would you like to see MSD work on? I would like to see MSD organize virtual CME events in various medical topics such as telehealth medicine in primary care, COVID and its changing guidelines, and various other primary care clinical and outpatient guidelines.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years, I hope to see myself grow as an attending physician. I also hope that I can continue to serve the population and community that I know. Since I do enjoy teaching and working with medical students and residents, I would like to be able to incorporate some of this work, along with seeing my patients as well.
