HEATHER FARLEY, MD has been appointed as the first Chief Wellness Officer at Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Farley will oversee the organizational strategy to advance the professional fulfillment and wellbeing of Christiana Care caregivers.
Hospital News BAYHEALTH
BAYHEALTH raised approximately $30,000 from its annual Go Pink! Campaign for breast cancer awareness. The funds, which are divided between Bayhealth and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, were raised primarily through the sale of Go Pink! T-shirts and will be used to provide breast screenings and education programs to the community. Approximately 4,800 shirts were sold.
BAYHEALTH PASTORAL CARE has received the HealthCare Chaplaincy Network’s Excellence in Spiritual Care Award for the second time, after previously receiving the award in 2016. The national award signifies Bayhealth’s commitment to addressing the spiritual and religious needs of its patients through best practices in spiritual care.
