CONCLUSIONS
Luno-triquetral coalitions progress radiographically in a typical
distally across the width of the bones. If fusion remains incomplete, a distal notch may be seen. This sequence can be observed from approximately age 7 to 13 years. Capito-hamate coalitions occur earlier in childhood, with bony fusion seen by age 6. The typical radiographic sequence includes hamate larger or equal in size to capitate, parallel cortex sign, and bony fusion
