Beebe Healthcare recently unveiled a memorial portrait honoring the late MANSOUR SABERI, MD. Dr. Saberi served as the Chair of the Department of Medicine at Beebe Medical Center, was the Medical Director of the Diabetes and Wound Care Center and established the Center of Osteoporosis, Metabolic and Bone Disorders. He was also selected to be a Master of the American College of Physicians. The portrait will hang in the hospital’s Hall of Honor.
The Newseum in Washington, DC will feature an exhibit of photography by John Olson recognizing the 50th Anniversary
of the Tet Offensive and the 1968 Battle of Hue in Vietnam. MAYER KATZ, MD, a vascular surgeon, is featured in one of the photographs. Dr. Katz shared his story with the photographer to help fill in some of the first-hand accounts that accompany the photographs. The exhibit will be on display through July 8, 2018.

BEEBE HEALTHCARE
BEEBE HEALTHCARE is developing a southern campus in Millville as part of a $180 million expansion project. The new facility will include a new year-round freestanding emergency department as well as a cancer center. Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2018.
BAYHEALTH
BAYHEALTH HOSPITAL’S 12th Annual Go Pink! campaign, which raises money for breast cancer screenings, education and overall breast cancer awareness raised more than $28,000 through the Go Pink! t-shirt sales. The campaign sold approximately 4,600 shirts. Funds raised are used to provide breast screenings and education programs offered through Bayhealth and its community partner, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
