SPECIALTY: NUCLEAR MEDICINE PRACTICE NAME: CHRISTIANACARE NUCLEAR MEDICINE

What prompted you to decide to join MSD? Prior to moving to Delaware, I lived in Arkansas and was a member of the Arkansas

What is your hometown? I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin.
What made you come to Delaware? All of my training was done on the East Coast, in Baltimore and Philadelphia. We decided to come back to the mid-Atlantic area to be closer to family.
What made you come to Delaware (or choose to stay in Delaware if from here)? I grew up in the state; many of my loved ones are here. I will always think fondly of Delaware.
What made you go into medicine? I was enchanted by the combination of improving the lives of others (mentally and physically),
What do you like to do in your spare time? Exercise; travel; go to the theater; gaze at, consider, and discuss art of all forms; read; knit.
What would you like to see MSD work on? Since I’m new to the Society, I’m not sure what’s already been done. But I am very interested in educating Delawareans about environment, lifestyle, and health outcomes.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Safe and in excellent health. I can be surprised by the rest.
What made you go into medicine? I have always had a natural affinity for science and math. Medicine was a way to use both science and math, while at the same time, it allows me to help others and be involved. There are physicians in my family, so I was familiar with the field.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children. I enjoy cooking and traveling. My wife is from Australia. We also have family in Uganda, Wisconsin and along the East Coast, and I enjoy the opportunities to travel and visit with them.
What would you like to see MSD work on? I am still relatively new to Delaware so I am still learning about MSD. I think I need to learn more to see what is offered.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years, I see myself still practicing medicine and will likely still be here in Delaware.
