BAYHEALTH’S Kent Campus has been re-designated as Baby- Friendly by Baby-Friendly USA, Inc., as part of a global program sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The designation recognizes hospitals and birthing centers that offer an optimal level of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies by providing helpful information as well as helping instill confidence and skills needed to successfully initiate and continue breastfeeding.

CHRISTIANA CARE HEALTH SYSTEM has earned the “Most
Wired” designation from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). The award recognizes the use
of innovative technologies to advance health and care. Christiana Care is one of only 5% of U.S. hospitals to receive the designation.
CHRISTIANA CARE HEALTH SYSTEM and AFFINITY HEALTH ALLIANCE (Union Hospital) in Elkton, Maryland have signed a letter of intent for Union Hospital and its affiliates to join Christiana Care Health System. The exclusive negotiations and due diligence are expected to take several months.
