KATHLEEN ELDRIDGE, MD was named Medical Director of Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners and Clinical Director
of Acute Care Services for The Christiana Care Medical Group. Dr. Eldridge joined Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners in 2011 and received the 2016 American College of Physicians Delaware Chapter Excellence in Hospital Medicine Award.
JAMES M. GILL, MD, MPH, President of Delaware Valley Outcomes Research, President of Family Medicine at Greenhill, and Associate Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University,
was named to the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) Board of Trustees. The NOF is the nation’s leading health organization dedicated to preventing osteoporosis and broken bones and promoting strong bones for life through awareness, education, advocacy, and research.
ERIN GRADY, MD, CCD, FACNM was elected to chair the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Grady, a Nuclear Medicine Physician, has been with Christiana Care
for six years. In 2015 she was named the Rising Star in the Department of Radiology.
Nemours physician THEODORE HARCKE, MD was honored with the distinguished Society for Pediatric Radiology Pioneer Award, recognizing his significant contributions to the field of pediatric radiology. Dr. Harcke was instrumental in building the Radiology Department at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and served as Chair of Medical Imaging and Director of Imaging Research at Nemours.
MATTHEW K. HOFFMAN, MD, MPH was recognized by the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology for being a
top reviewer for the Journal since 2015. Recognition is awarded to the top 50 reviewers. Dr. Hoffman practices at Christiana Care Obstetrics and Gynecology.
JASON NOMURA, MD, FACP, FACEP, FAHA was elected a Fellow of the American Heart Association. Dr. Nomura practices at the Christiana Care Emergency Department.
DAVID A. PAUL, MD, Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Christiana Care Health System, received the J. Thompson Brown Award from Children and Families First for his work to decrease infant mortality and improve the health of women and children.
ROBERT L. WITT, MD, FACS was guest of honor at the 2017 Annual Meeting and International Conference of the Taiwan Head & Neck Society in Haulien, Taiwan. He presented talks on Thyroid Molecular Testing Using Ultrasound and Surgical Management of Grave’s Disease.
Hospital News CHRISTIANA CARE HEALTH SYSTEM
CHRISTIANA CARE HEALTH SYSTEM has been designated a Center for Comprehensive MS Care by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Patients at these centers have access to coordinated services that take patients’ medical and non-medical needs into account.
CHRISTIANA HOSPITAL AND WILMINGTON HOSPITAL have earned 2017 Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality designation, including a perfect score on the national Healthcare Equality Index from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is the sixth consecutive year that Christiana Care’s hospitals have received the honor.
