BEEBE HEALTHCARE has been named as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Pulmonary Care, according to
new research released by Healthgrades. Healthgrades analyzed 32 of the most common outpatient procedures and conditions, using Medicare data in appendectomy and bariatric surgery, to make their evaluation.
CHRISTIANACARE
CHRISTIANACARE has been honored as one of only
89 institutions out of 722 by the American College
of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress for achieving “meritorious” outcomes in surgical patient care. This is the ninth consecutive year that ChristianaCare has been recognized through the organization’s National Surgical Quality Improvement Program. The award recognizes ChristianaCare’s coordinated delivery of perioperative care within the general, colorectal, neurologic, orthopaedic, and oral and maxillofacial and otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) surgery specialties.
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE
SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE was awarded a Health Equity Grant
of $895,000 by New Castle County. The grant enables Saint Francis to design and build an entirely new St. Clare Medical Outreach Mobile Health Van that will expand primary care services, as well as offer social care and behavioral health services, provided through a partnership with Catholic Charities.
TIDALHEALTH
TIDALHEALTH NANTICOKE was awarded an “A” from The Leapfrog Group for the Fall 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
The designation recognizes TidalHealth Nanticoke’s efforts
in protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care. This is the second consecutive reporting period where TidalHealth Nanticoke has been given the “A” grade.
